Stroke & Turn Judge
WHO?
Any parent who has attended a Greater Forsyth Swim League Storke & Turn Judge Training session.
Don't let this intimidate you! You do NOT have to have experience as a swimmer to be a stroke & turn judge. You will learn to observe swimmers and record notes when a swimmer performs an illegal stroke. This is a great way to help our swimmers improve, and you also have the support of the Meet Referee.
WHAT?
You will observe swimmers on your assigned end and lanes of the pool to monitor for stroke technique.
WHERE?
Poolside - so you get the best viewing seat in the house!
WHEN?
We use two stroke and turn judges for each 1/2 of the swim meet (so we require 4 per meet) - and then you can relax during the rest of the evening.
