Shallowford Lakes Sea Lions

Theme:  This meet is NEON GLOW PARTY!  Come dressed in your Neon Colors and we will light up the night with fast swimming and fun!

Arrive:  The pool will close to public swim at 4PM and we will begin setting up for the meet.  Please arrive between 4:30-4:45PM to get checked in and ready for warm-ups.

Parking

• Vehicle travel will be restricted to one-way, north on Sonata from Wyntfield, and west on Prestwould from Sonata.
• Drivers will be instructed to park on the RIGHT side of the street ONLY to enable emergency vehicles to pass.
• Signage will be posted, and volunteers will be directing traffic.
• Please note: The main pool parking lock will be restricted to individuals with a parking pass. Plan to walk and allow time to get from your car to the pool.

Check In:

• Swimmers: Check in with coaches at the "Coaches Table" where we will assist with marking swimmers and answering questions as needed.
  • NAME and AGE written on back shoulder.
  • Event, Heat, Lane, and Stroke on arms
  • Check out an example HERE.
• Volunteers: Check in at the Sea Lions Volunteer Table to pick up supplies and confirm volunteer roles. Volunteers will have a meeting at 5:00PM near the entrance of the pool.

Set Up: As you enter the pool, please set up along the left-hand side (away from the lake). You are welcome to bring shade tents, coolers, chairs, etc.

*Note:  10&Under Swimmer Families - it is helpful if you set up near the Sea Lions Banner and Clerk of Course Check In Tent.  This allows us to easily find your swimmers to them lined up for the events.

Warm-Ups - Prior to warm-ups, have your swimmer marked, have them use the bathroom, and make sure they have their cap and goggles. The team will meet for our team cheer immediately after warm-ups, and 10&Under swimmers will walk directly to the Clerk of Course to check in.

Concessions: Shallowford will be selling the following items

• Cash & Venmo are welcomed (Venmo transaction $5 minimum)
• Antonio’sCheese Pizza (a local Lewisville favorite!)
• Hot Dogs
• Chips
• Drinks
• Candy
• Kona Ice will be onsite with their popular, cool summer treats! The Kona Ice Menu features their Klassic, VitaBlend, Fruit First and Zero Sugar options. Check out their site and support Kona Ice as they support our team!
