WHO?
This job is for anyone who likes to be on the move! You can get your daily steps in while having the best view of all the races.
WHAT?
You will collect timer sheets from all 6 lanes and deliver them to the scoring table. You will also collect DQ slips from the 4 Stroke and Turn officials (2 on each end of the pool) and deliver these to the Meet Referee to be reviewed and signed. You will then deliver the signed DQ slips to the scoring table.
WHERE?
You cover both ends of the pool which allows you to strategically position yourself to watch your child race.
WHEN?
Each runner will be responsible for ½ of the meet. Timer sheets are collected at a steady pace (typically after every 4-5 races). DQ slips vary but tend to increase during the butterfly and breast stroke races while decreasing during relays, freestyle, and backstroke races. Runners will switch after the Individual Medley races are completed.
